Wilmington Lacrosse, located in Wilmington, Delaware, was founded in 1990. The Wings Program has grown from twenty-four seventh and eighth grade boys to over 400 girls and boys in grades Kindergarten through eighth grades. The spring season runs from March through early June. Teams are organized by: age(boys)/grade (girls), experience and skill.
The mission of Wilmington Lacrosse is to provide an opportunity for young athletes to learn and play the game of lacrosse, and to have fun in a safe and positive environment that fosters good sportsmanship and citizenship.
Our program is dedicated to developing the whole player, both on and off the field. We aim to instill a love of the game, a respect for teammates and opponents, and a sense of teamwork and sportsmanship in all of our players. We believe that through lacrosse, players can learn important life skills that will help them succeed in whatever they choose to do.
